They had nine children in 32 years. Johann George Simon was born on March 25, 1749, in Tulpehocken, Pennsylvania, the son of Catherine and Johann. He died on April 11, 1804, in Virginia at the age of 55.\">\n<p>Johann George Simon baptism was on March 25, 1749, at Host Church in Tulpehocken, Berks, Pennsylvania, the son of Catherine and Johann Jacob Simon.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marysfolly.com\/?page_id=1168\">Mary Reger<\/a> married Johann George Simon and likely in Hampshire or Hardy County, Virginia about 1765 but there is no marriage record and only circumstantial or dna evidence supports it.\u00a0 However, it is clear that his wife was Mary and they had the following children in order of their birth:\u00a0 Leonard, Elizabeth, Mary, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marysfolly.com\/?page_id=726\">Catherine &#8220;Kate&#8221;<\/a>, George B, Benjamin Allen, Jacob, and Christian.<\/p>\n<p>In 1783, George Simon paid the Hampshire County Supply Tax and is recognized by the DAR for his patriotic service with #DAR A216365<\/p>\n<p>He died before April 11, 1804, in Virginia at the age of 55.\u00a0\u00a0George Simon written 1802 (Bk. 1, p. 275; probated 4\/11\/1804 in Hardy County, Virginia (now West Virginia).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Johann George Simon baptism was on March 25, 1749, at Host Church in Tulpehocken, Berks, Pennsylvania, the son of Catherine and Johann Jacob Simon.
