“Sally” Sarah Ann Cockrell was born in Fauquier, Virginia about 1788. Her father, Anderson<\/a>, was 51, and her mother, Mary nee Johnson, was 48.\u00a0 \u00a0She\u00a0married Patrick Francis<\/a>\u00a0in Fauquier, Virginia, May 1, 1808.<\/p>\n

They had twelve children during their marriage.\u00a0 They were in order of their birth:\u00a0\u00a0Mary Jeffries, Reuben Arthur<\/a>, Hannah Jane, Margaret, Henry Patrick, Andrew Jackson, Joseph W, Harriet C, Owen Thomas, Sarah Ann, John Robinson, and William Alexander.<\/p>\n

She died on June 18, 1874, in Lewis, West Virginia, having lived a long life of 83 years.\u00a0 Her body was interred in Vandalia Cemetery, Lewis County, West Virginia.<\/p>\n
