She married Harvey Armstrong on August 7, 1855, in Highland, Virginia. They had nine children in 21 years. She was Scotch-Irish decent.<br \/>\nWhen Margaret &#8220;Peggy&#8221; Ann McCoy was born, her father, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marysfolly.com\/?page_id=484\">Henry<\/a>, was 34, and her mother, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marysfolly.com\/?page_id=487\">Mary Bodkin<\/a>, was 27.<\/p>\n<p>She married <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marysfolly.com\/?page_id=276\">Harvey Armstrong<\/a> on August 7, 1855, in Highland, Virginia. In the spring of 1858 they moved to West Virginia and settled on a farm one mile above French Creek in Upshur County, West Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>They had nine children in 21 years.
