She married Capt. John McCoy in 1759 in her hometown. They had 12 children in 21 years. She died in May 1807 in Doe Hill, Virginia, at the age of 67.\" data-placeholder-empty=\"Add a Biography to Personalize the LifeStory\">\n<p>When Sarah Oliver was born in 1740 in Augusta County, Virginia, her father, Aaron Oliver and immigrant from the Netherlands and her mother, Elizabeth Harrison.\u00a0 According to the paper of the late Benjamin Hiner of Franklin, West Virginia, Elizabeth, wife of Aaron Oliver, was a widow Shipman when she married Aaron.\u00a0 Supportive evidence is only that Aaron is closely associated with these surname.\u00a0 According to VGS_1982_01_01_0147 &#8211; Elizabeth deeded 150 acres on Beaver Creek of North River of &#8220;Shando&#8221; to Aaron Oliver (ibid, Vol. III, page 386).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>About 1759, Sarah married <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marysfolly.com\/?page_id=589\">John McCoy<\/a> in Highland area of Virginia when she was 19 years old.
