She married Adam Radabaugh on June 9, 1754, in Tulpehocken, Pennsylvania. They had eight children in 22 years. She died on March 4, 1801, at the age of 70, and was buried in Mark, Somerset, England.\" data-placeholder-empty=\"Add a Biography to Personalize the LifeStory\">\n<p>When Maria Barbara Fischer was born on May 18, 1730, in Schweigern, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, Germany, her father, Georg Ulrich Fischer, was 32, and her mother, Anna Maria Boger, was 32.<\/p>\n<p>She married <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marysfolly.com\/?page_id=745\">Adam Radabaugh<\/a> on June 9, 1754, in Tulpehocken, Pennsylvania.\u00a0 Adam and Barbara had land in Berks County, Pennsylvania that in 1786, after they had moved to Hampshire County, Virginia, they wished to sell.\u00a0 Adam Sr and Barbara settled two mountain ridges and one creek on the South Fork of the South Branch, 8 to 10 miles south of Moorefield and 7 or 8 miles east of Petersburg.\u00a0 Note:\u00a0 Virginia&#8217;s Hampshire County was divided in 1786, the southern half, where the Radabaugh&#8217;s lived, became Hardy County.<\/p>\n<p>Through the years, about 1758 to 1772, Adam and Barbara had eight known children.\u00a0 They were mentioned in Adam&#8217;s will as a daughter who married a Carshner and a daughter Barbara; Mary who married a Mawyers\/Moyers; a daughter who married Higher\/Hyer who had children Mary, Peter and Christian Hyer, and sons Henry, Peter, Martin, George and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marysfolly.com\/?page_id=719\">Adam<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Barbara died pre-1802, as she is not mentioned in her husband&#8217;s will.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When Maria Barbara Fischer was born on May 18, 1730, in Schweigern, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, Germany, her father, Georg Ulrich Fischer, was 32, and her mother, Anna Maria Boger, was 32.
