He married Jane Curry Bodkin on June 13, 1811, in his hometown. They had three children during their marriage. He died in 1855 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, at the age of 62.\">\n<p>When John Bodkin was born on July 12, 1793, in Pendleton, Virginia, his father, James, was 51 and his mother, Dinah Hicklin, was 57.<\/p>\n<p>John married <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marysfolly.com\/?page_id=970&amp;preview=true\">Jane Curry<\/a>\u00a0 on June 13, 1811, in Pendleton, Virginia.
