Bedford County is very likely because her mother, Derecy, had family from there.
She married John Allen H R J S Williams on December 26, 1865, in Mercer, West Virginia. They had eight children in 14 years.
The year 1881 was bad for this family. Their daughter Julia died January 7, 1881, Mary died November 10, 1881, and Rebecca died sometime after the 1880 census. Martha died on October 14, 1881, of ‘fever’ in Pipestem, West Virginia, at the age of 38. Her burial location is in Williams Cemetery in a remote location off of Butterfly Lane in Summers County, West Virginia along with her husband and some of their children.
