She married Jacob House in 1770 in Shenandoah, Virginia. Their son Abraham House was born about 1780.
Located at the Washington Court House Chapter DAR, 1962, 2:135-137, FLH microfilm 0, 862, 023, item 2, citing House Bible in possession of Mrs. Beryl Cavinee, Washington Court House, Ohio. Also a “faded old paper” in the Bible stated “Barbara Wendle House was a sister to Capt. Joseph Parrot’s wife and sister to Peter Wendle.
She died in 1839, Fayette, Ohio at the impressive age of 90.
